First, I hope to post something else today, finished to my liking or not!! lol

Wow!! So I am soooo happy! I have nothing but good news! Here it goes!

-So I posted my Health Magazine spread! It came out nice, I think. I was drawing for the cover but they said it tied into the cover story so well that they put all my drawings along with the story instead. I'm not upset cause it looks pretty good. I just hope that the hard work I put into the drawing tranlates well. I put so much detail into the sand castles and people that it would be a shame not to see it. The editer said it looks fantastic in person so I can't wait to get my hands on an issue! *or 10!!-lol

-So roller derby is taking off! I'm training hard for 2 upcoming bouts. One against a team in our league. *the league is split into 3 leagues that bout through out the season* And the next is an All Star bout against Montreal Roller Derby!! They are coming down to our amazing venue! I can't wait! Or I can! They are soooo good! This will be a HUGE deal for us! WOW!! So I'm training sooooooo hard!

-In other roller derby news.....
We *jersey shore roller girls* just got done filming for an episode of Samantha Brown's Great Weekends!! [link] I am beyond excited! The episode will air on the Travel Channel in NOV2009, Right after Drew Barrymore's roller derby movie 'Whip It' comes out! *with Ellen Page* I can't believe it! We *well, the founders of the leaugue* taught Samantha Brown aka 'MC Slammer' how to play derby and then skated with her! I mostly just skate in the background! but that's good enough for me! It was soooo awesome! She even fell and got some rink rash! *which she mentioned on her twitter! lol So yeah! Exciting stuff!

-AND!!!! I finally made it!! I will be featured in an upcoming artshow! A friend of mine has her photography featured often and told me of an upcoming show. She gave me the email of the coordinater and I sent my works. I got the email back yesterday that I'm in! I can't believe it! She actually likes the emotional nature of my work! I was super surprized! The show will run from late July to late August. I will post more info as I get it. I will also be making a new piece for the show. That's why I will post my crappy drawing today so I can move on and start fresh tomorrow. Woo!

So good news all around. There is more going on but my hand is tired-lol

Sorry again for not being around. All this, with my family and regular life stuff keeps me from DA and personal art. It's a good thing the canvas in my head is back on or I would be scared for the show. But I am constantly picturing art and drawing in my head again. It feels great!
